Our sleep clinic, Everything Sleep Idaho, is a medical facility specifically designed to diagnose and treat sleep disorders. We are staffed by healthcare professionals trained in sleep medicine, including sleep physicians, sleep specialists, respiratory therapists, and polysomnographic technologists.

Our sleep physicians and providers, including board-certified sleep technologists, oversee the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders. Our sleep specialists have expertise in evaluating sleep patterns, interpreting sleep study results, and managing various sleep-related conditions.

We are equipped with state-of-the-art monitoring equipment and facilities to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective treatment. This includes specialized sleep monitoring devices, comfortable sleep rooms designed to simulate a home-like environment, and advanced technology for data analysis and interpretation.

Our approach to Sleep Medicine is focused on the importance of quality sleep and sleep hygiene. Quality sleep is essential for overall health and well-being. Adequate sleep contributes to physical health, mental health, cognitive function, immune function, and emotional regulation. Sleep disorders can significantly impact these aspects of health and lead to various health problems if left untreated.

Our providers understand that sleep is also essential to quality of life. Sleep plays a vital role in daily functioning, including cognitive performance, concentration, memory consolidation, decision-making, and reaction times. Sleep disorders can impair these functions, leading to decreased productivity, impaired academic or work performance, and an increased risk of accidents and injuries.

We provide patient education and support to help individuals better understand their sleep disorder and manage their condition effectively. This may include information about healthy sleep habits, medication management, device usage (such as CPAP therapy), and coping strategies for improving sleep quality and overall well-being.

Our Process - Improving Sleep Step by Step

How you can go about getting a sleep test for a better night’s sleep starts with us.

Initial Consultation with one of our sleep physicians. We’ll start by discussing your sleep concerns and we will evaluate your symptoms and medical history to determine if a sleep test is necessary.
Evaluation and Referral: Based on your symptoms and medical history, we will develop a treatment plan as well as further testing including sleep tests in our sleep center.
Schedule the Test: There are two types of sleep tests.
- Polysomnography (PSG) Test: This test is usually conducted in a sleep center and involves monitoring various physiological parameters during sleep, including brain waves, eye movements, muscle activity, heart rate, breathing patterns, and oxygen levels.
- Home Sleep Apnea Test (HSAT): Depending on the severity of your symptoms, we may recommend an HSAT, which can be done in the comfort of your own home. It typically involves wearing a portable monitoring device that records breathing patterns, oxygen levels, and other parameters during sleep.
Follow Pre-Test Instructions: Before the sleep test, you will receive specific instructions which may include guidelines on what to eat or drink before the test, when to arrive at the sleep center (for PSG), or how to set up the home sleep monitoring device (for HSAT).
Undergo the Test: On the day of the test, prepare according to the instructions and then try to relax and sleep as naturally as possible to ensure accurate monitoring of your sleep patterns.
Review Results and Treatment Options: After the sleep test, the results will be analyzed by our sleep specialists. Depending on the findings, we will discuss treatment options with you, which may include lifestyle changes, therapy, medications, or devices like CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) for sleep apnea.
